Terminology

For FOREVER Funds grants from the Community Foundation's competitive community grantmaking process: In all materials, describe your funding as a grant from “the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis” without capitalizing the t in “the” in front of Community. After the first reference, you can refer to us a “the Community Foundation.” Do not use the acronym "CFGM." When referencing the FOREVER Funds, please capitalize the entirety of the word "FOREVER" and make sure you include an "s" at the end of "Funds."

An example of wording for your promotional materials could be:
The XYZ project was made possible by a grant from the FOREVER Funds at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.

For grants from donor-advised funds at the Community Foundation: When applicable, please acknowledge the individual funds that have made your grant possible in addition to the Community Foundation. The name of the funds that provided your grant are listed in your grant agreement.

An example of wording for your promotional materials could be:
The XYZ project was made possible by a grant from the Monogram Loves Kids Foundation at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.
