In response to a small but growing national controversy around the funding of hate groups through donor-advised and similar funds, the Board of Governors has voted to amend the Foundation’s Grant Due Diligence Policy to prohibit grantmaking to recognized hate groups. 

Not only does prohibiting such grants protect our institutional reputation, it helps us better fulfill our mission and represent our values of fairness, transparency, and equity & inclusion.
