JUMPSTART

Jumpstart is an immersive, yearlong program that pairs you with a personal fundraising coach, who meets with you (virtually) twice per month to help in acquiring, retaining, and upgrading individual donors. In addition to dedicated coaching, the program includes technology tools and technical assistance, designed to help you execute strategies built with your coach.

  • Library of best-practice appeals, plans, and trainings on topical fundraising areas. 
  • Personalized, 1:1 consultation on donor acquisition, retention, recurring and major gifts, and more.
  • Create and execute robust, multi-channel online fundraising and community engagement strategy.
  • Board trainings and tools to enable stakeholders participate in fundraising activities. 
  • Utilize integrated tech to implement strategies, align remote leadership in a digital workspace.
  • Easy-to-use donor management system to organize, segment, and engage with donors and prospects.
  • Powerful online fundraising campaigns, peer-to-peer platform, and event ticketing pages.
  • Email builder, Text2Give, video acknowledgements, pledge management and task management.
  • Plan, manage, and host high-ROI virtual and hybrid events with confidence

Eligilibility

Eligible organizations must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency or under fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)3, operating in West Tennessee, northern Mississippi, and/or eastern Arkansas. Applicants must also have a LIVEGIVEmidsouth.org published or updated LIVEGIVEmidsouth.org profile by September 30. The Community Foundation will provide training and support to each organization building a profile.

 

Application & EVALUATION cRITERIA

To be considered for sponsorship in the Jumpstart program, organizations should complete this assessment administered by Network for Good.  The results of this assessment will be utilized to further inform us of the fundraising capacity challenges the Mid-South nonprofit sector is currently facing and qualify your organization for consideration in the Jumpstart Program. Please note that this sponsored opportunity is open to all organizations but will prioritize those led by people of color.

 

Process & Timeline

January 17: Jumpstart application opens online.

February 3: Deadline to submit assessment online

February 2023: Jumpstart Cohort Kickoff

April 28: Deadline for organization's LIVEGIVEmidsouth profiles to be published or up to date.
