Bridges to Success: Building Economy and Livability in Memphis by Growing and Connecting our Green Spaces

Community Foundation donors gathered at Ducks Unlimited on Sept. 23, 2014, for Bridges to Success: Building Economy and Livability in Memphis by Growing and Connecting our Green Spaces.

As the Regional Greenprint & Sustainability Plan launched its public phase, local experts addressed 100 donors on greening initiatives across the area and how they will affect transportation, tourism, and economic development. For more information on the plan, visit midsouthgreenprint.org.

Moderator Lauren Taylor of the Hyde Family Foundations led a lively discussion with Paul Young, Director of Legislative Affairs in the Shelby County Mayor’s Office; Bob Wenner, Wolf River Greenway Coordinator at the Wolf River Conservancy; and Greg Maxted, Excutive Director of the Harahan Bridge Project.
