Community Foundation donors and GiVE 365 members are invited to join us for a hands-on tour of The Center for Health Improvement and Patient Simulation (CHIPS) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC)
Using robotics and virtual experiences, the newly opened, state-of-the-art CHIPS facility offers simulated healthcare technologies in a realistic environment. Expect a rare, interactive opportunity to physically simulate the roles (such as surgery or the ER) of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals, while learning how UTHSC prepares its students and residents for service in many partnering Memphis hospitals and healthcare institutions.
Featuring remarks by
Dr. Steve J. Schwab, UTHSC Chancellor
Dr. Chad Epps, Executive Director of Healthcare Simulation
