2018 was quite a year, with a new record for grants to the community from the Community Foundation.

Just last year:

  • Donors gave the Foundation $161.1 MILLION in gifts
  • The Community Foundation & donors awarded $147.6 MILLION to nonprofits in grants
  • 6,733 GRANTS awarded to 1,864 DISTINCT NONPROFITS

What's Happening

Community Foundation marks 50 years of serving the Mid-South

While the Community Foundation has traditionally had funds that people donate to on an annual basis, its new Forever Fund is a permanent endowment that leverages more immediate donations to ensure foundation funding in perpetuity. The Daily Memphian reports.
