FY 2019 was quite a year, with a new record for grants to the community from the Community Foundation.

Just last year:

  • Donors gave the Foundation $161.1 MILLION in gifts
  • The Community Foundation & donors awarded $147.6 MILLION to nonprofits in grants
  • 6,733 GRANTS awarded to 1,864 DISTINCT NONPROFITS

Mid-South COVID-19 Regional Response Fund Deploys $821,000 to Agencies for Economic Relief

(Apr. 6, 2020) In its April 3 grant round, the Mid-South COVID-19 Regional Response Fund made grants to 29 nonprofits, bringing its total impact to $821,000 grants to 39 organizations.

Mid-South COVID-19 Regional Response Fund Contributes $415,000 to Agencies for Economic Relief

(Mar. 31. 2020) Through the generosity of individual and foundation donors throughout the community, the Fund released its second round of rapid relief grants on March 27. The diversity of this week’s grants underscores the far-reaching impact this pandemic is having in every corner of our community.
