The Community Partnership Fund, established in 1993, has supported numerous programs and projects that improve our community. Each nonprofit that receives a grant has been carefully researched by a team of volunteers who recommend grants to the Board. Foundation program staff monitors the work of the organizations, ensuring donors that their gifts are working to fulfill their intended purpose.
A $10,000 grant from the Community Partnership Fund made it possible for True Story Pictures to develop an online video archiveof all oral history and documentary interviews it has made since 2004. True Story records and documents stories that preserve the area’s rich and varied heritage for future generations in a way that will remain relevant and meaningful. The archive will become a priceless storehouse of shared experiences and memories as well as a leading resource for video material documenting the life stories and history of the region.
