Scholarships

They gave, so that you could learn.

Charitable Mid-Southerners who work with the Community Foundation have chosen to help you continue your education. They believe that much in the importance and the future of the next generation!

The Community Foundation manages more than 40 different scholarships, each one created to honor a different person, profession, school, or goal. Applications for 16 of the scholarships are available on our site.

For example, friends and family of the late Memphis Grizzlies' legendary broadcaster Don Poier created a journalism scholarship in his memory. The Kylen C. Bares scholarship remembers a remarkable Memphis student by helping math, engineering, or science students.

This section provides information about all the scholarships we offer, FAQs, and stories of several of our winners. For additional informationemail Vanessa Langston or call her at (901) 722-0032.
