Tod and Anna Holtzclaw
Tell us a little about yourself.
Anna is a lifelong Memphian who fortunately bumped into Tod when he moved here to work for International Paper in 2003. They have a four-year-old daughter and two dogs who all love living in Midtown and taking advantage of all of Memphis' great assets. Tod continues to work for IP and Anna works as an independent consultant.
How long have you been Memphians?
Anna moved here when she was three, left once for college, returned and left again for business school, then returned to stay. Tod moved here in 2003 and doesn't plan on leaving.
Why did you join GiVE 365?
GiVE 365 gives us a voice we normally wouldn't have and we are excited about the power of leveraging a pool of funds to make a larger impact on our community.
Who do you think is doing exceptional work in Memphis?
Fortunately that list is long. We also try to celebrate the people whose names don't show up in the paper but who do show up every day at work with smiles on their faces and some "Memphis love" in their hearts because they make our city a great place to live every day. Just this past weekend our list would include: Lee at Sekisui, the baristas at midtown Starbucks, the sextons at St. Mary's Cathedral, the Blue Suede Shoe Brigade, the volunteers passing the bucket at Levitt Shell.... and on and on....
