Tabatha Stephens and Michael Mobley

Tell us a little about yourselves.

Tabatha works for FedEx in the communications department and Michael works for Morgan Keegan in the fixed income department. We have two wonderful furry children: Tillie is our cat who runs the house and is kind enough to let us share her space. Gus is 70 lbs. of timid boxer and hound.

How long have you been Memphians?

We moved to Memphis about 11 years ago from Atlanta. We lived in Cooper Young for seven of those years, and Evergreen for four. Tabatha is from Tennessee and Michael is a military brat from all over. We met in Atlanta after college and have been together ever since.

Why did you join GiVE 365?

We were impressed with the concept. We thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to get involved with others to strengthen our community. Also, it will be interesting to hear other people's perspectives on giving priorities.

What's your favorite place to have lunch?

Tabatha's vote is for Café Eclectic and "yummy burger." Michael votes for Los Compadres and their shrimp and bean quesadilla.

Who do you think is doing exceptional work in Memphis?

Playhouse on the Square for their commitment to a vision. The new facility is remarkable. Also, Craig Brewer for his commitment to Memphis in general. We are big fans of his projects.

Favorite superheroes?

Underdog, who else? "Not a plane, nor bird, nor even frog, it's just little old me, Underdog!"
