Max Maloney and Marlinee Iverson

 

Tell us a little about yourselves.

Max Maloney: Husband, father, philosopher, bon vivant. “The joys of life are found in the little things.”
Marlinee Iverson: Witty, charming, provocative, passionate and humble. “Sleeping is a basic human right.” 

How long have you been Memphians?

We’ve both been in Memphis for about 20 years. We met all the same people but did not come across each other until five years ago. There are pros and cons to this. Nevertheless, we got hitched in Thailand in 2007 and live in Midtown with our blended family of four children, two dogs, a cat and a fish. 

Why did you join GiVE 365?

We like giving in ways that help Memphis AND in a way that is based on community input.
