Tell us about yourself.

Retired, relatively new to Memphis. I moved here from Starkville, Miss. I'm an MSU Bulldog! I live in Hein Park and my hobbies include reading, tennis, juggling and biking. And I do a weekly country music show on WEVL. 

How did you hear about GiVE 365 and why did you join?

I heard about GiVE 365 when I was establishing my donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation. I joined because the members sound like good folks to meet.

Who do you think is doing great work in the city?

I haven't been around long enough to identify favorite groups. I do think Playhouse on the Square has excellent youth activities.

Favorite place in Memphis?

Besides the river at sunset, the Four-Way Grill on Mississippi, the Doughboy in Overton Park and Playhouse on the Square. 

If you could change one thing about Memphis?

The heat and the crime.
