Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm passionate, engaged and a lifelong Memphian. I love my family and can often be found trying to sneak my pug MoMo into my office. I try to do too many things at once, and still can't believe I get paid to follow my dream of helping to build Memphis into the city we all know it can be. I am executive director of MPACT Memphis. I previously practiced law and graduated from U of M law school. I enjoy running, working in the garden, playing with my dog and trying new adventures.
How long have you been a Memphian?
All my life, with a brief international interlude.
Why did you join GiVE 365?
GiVE 365 is an innovative approach to giving for those who want to be philanthropists but might not know where to get started. Its low threshold of entry makes philanthropy accessible to everyone.
What's your favorite place to have lunch?
Do Sushi in Cooper Young
Who do you think is doing exceptional work in Memphis?
I am most impressed by those who are on the front lines, in the trenches. Caritas Village is a wonderful example of an entire community coming together to take ownership of their future and build a better neighborhood from the ground up.
Favorite superhero?
My Mom. She was She-Ra Princess of Power when my brother and I were kids. She's still a superhero to me.
