The Community Foundation of Greater Memphis is the largest philanthropic foundation – public or private – in the Memphis area, both in terms of assets and grants awarded. 

The Foundation represents the collective charitable activities of some 1,000 individuals, families, corporations and organizations that have chosen the Foundation to help make their giving easier and more effective.

We serve donors and their professional advisors by simplifying charitable giving and tax reporting, structuring and managing personalized grant programs, facilitating unusual or complicated gifts, presenting timely information on community needs and by providing investment products that maximize giving potential.

The Community Foundation serves the community by gathering and growing charitable resources, reporting on community needs, addressing those needs through our own discretionary grant making and by advocating philanthropy in all forms.
